![]() ![]() THE INSTANCES Starting slow and building massively as I reached level 50 with hard modes, the dungeons have - mostly - been a class act. Being able to run all content on one character is so immensely sensible, I cannot understand why it is not industry standard. Combos and the slow introduction of skills makes picking up a class not too hard once the basics are grasped and the job system coming in early is a move of genius. The massive text box tutorials that appear with pages long explanations do not help a great deal in instruction either. Walking into a city for the first time is fairly intuitive and the offer of gamepad or keyboard/mouse is nice but FFXIV makes a cardinal sin (in my mind) of making a player wait an age before they are introduced to the core loop. THE GAMEPLAY Now this one may be an issue. From the opening twinkle of the crystal theme to the resounding use of a song called "Answers" I love it all. THE MUSIC Not much to say here other than, Final Fantasy knows it's sound. The ending fights hit hard and felt like a challenge as well, though I have heard these are very updated from older iterations. It slows down a lot again until the Empire finally rock up and events drop quickly from there until the credits roll. ![]() The dark points of tempering and repercussions of our actions. Lots of build up and story telling around and after. Makes the (startling) jump to taking on Ifrit a memorable moment and what a moment. THE STORY It is slow no arguing that but… Starting as not only as a nobody adventurer but someone who everyone seems to actively not like and gives a hard time to is great. Everyone says it but to come in meet people and be exposed to the community with no effort in and this quickly shows that it deserves its praise. Even those passers by that you meet during unskippable cutscenes have been fantastic craic. Between this act and directing me to content I wouldn’t have found, answering questions and helping me take on tougher content has been outstanding. ![]() They made me part of their Discord, FC and went as (insanely) far as funding me to buy a plot and build my own house. With FFXIV, a small crowd settled in whilst I was doing my voice acting and took me under their wing. People are generally bonny but shift around a lot. THE COMMUNITY I recently started streaming and jumped around a few games. I’ve recently come to the end of A Realm Reborn and have now seen both sets of credits and want to share my feelings. This post has been written a thousand times but positivity needs spreading. Submitted by yacksyzn to FFXIVRECRUITMENT Thank you, feel free to DM me if you consider me. (Preferably Saturdays) I stream FFXIV Friday - Sunday, which is why it’s important for the group to be alright with it.įor the most part, I’m a goofy easygoing fella that just wants to play the content he’s paying for and I’d be grateful if I was considered into your group. I live on the West Coast so I go off of PST and work an 8-5 on weekdays, so my prime raid times are Friday - Sunday. My experience with raiding has been primarily through Endwalker Savage Raids (P1S and up.) I’ve nearly cleared the first savage Tier, got to P4S P2 ACT 3 and have since moved on to clear P5S - Currently Working on P6S. The Group should be comfortable with having a filthy streamer in their midst, cause that’s what I am and that’s what I’d be focusing on for this content. (P5S - P8S) Want to clear before patch 6.4. MNK Main looking to clear the current Savage Tier. ![]()
